Richard Hricko

Richard Hricko is Associate Professor of Printmaking at Tyler School of Art, Temple University, where he has also been Associate Dean, Graduate Program Director, and Department Chair. He received his MFA degree from Tyler School of Art and his BFA degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology. His exhibitions include the International Print Center New York, Glynn Vivian Art Museum in Wales, National Academy Museum in New York, Garton and Cooke Gallery in London, and Pratt Graphics Center in New York. His awards and grants include the West Virginia Arts and Humanities Council Artist-in-Residence Grant, Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Fellowship, National Endowment for the Arts/Mid-Atlantic Regional Fellowship and Lily Foundation Faculty Fellowship.

Philip Glahn

Philip Glahn is Assistant Professor of Critical Studies and Aesthetics at Tyler School of Art, Temple University. His teaching and research focus on the histories and strategies of socio-political engagement in the arts; the development of the relations between art, social formations, and the public sphere; and the relationship between critical discourse and artistic practice. His writings have appeared in Art Journal, Afterimage and BOMB and he is currently working on a book about the influence of the work of German playwright Bertolt Brecht on 1960s and ’70s US art and contemporary artistic, critical, and curatorial practice.

Nicholas Kripal is Professor of Art and Chair of the Crafts Department, Tyler School of Art, of Temple University. He received his M.F.A. degree from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, and his B.F.A. degree from the University of Nebraska, Kearney. His awards and grants include a Pew Fellowship in the Arts, 1999, Pennsylvania Council for the Arts Fellowships 1987,1992,1997.
