This publication is a travel journey written as a graphic novel. In this comic book, the author sets out to investigate the complex links between the city of Tokyo and the consumption and production of gay comic books.
Without reaching any conclusion, we discover the questions he finds on his quest. Experiences which are told in first person, in a hyperrealistic way, and which are able to take the reader to the physical and conceptual spaces described on it.

Fashion 2012
a relational style guide for the next decade by Marc Herbst
Available for $15 at www.journalofaestheticsandprotest.org/press.htm
With global warming and a new round of intense economic turmoil, its clear that there are changes on the way. Radical and progressive culture has the opportunity to create a context for the new social patterns that will emerge in this mix.
Fashion 2012, a relational style guide for the next decade begins to define the emotional needs and social possiblity that opens up in this gap in order to suggest areas of mundane though meaningful artistic production.
This comic book outlines the coming years of fashion, including re-interpretations of the notion of success and the rebranding of collective action. Fashion and style are idealizations and formalizations of particular social interactions.

Cut and Paint Stencil Template Zine #2
Available for $4. Contact info@cranearts.com for purchase.
Cut and Paint stencil template zine #2 is now available! The overwhelming demand for Cut and Paint #1 has encouraged us to more than double the print run. This time around we traded in the headaches of attempting to scam double-sided 11x17 photocopies for the impeccable offset printing provided by Eberhardt Press - an anarchist printer in Portland, Oregon.
As always, Cut and Paint has a plethora of copy-right free stencil template designs that we envision as a toolkit for your creative application. To help you out in the process, the issue includes a how-to-guide on how to enlarge the stencil templates, cut them out and put them up in the streets with tips on how to do this safely.
Expanding on the scope of the first issue, this edition has a number of writings including an essay by Emily Abendroth on a stencil project in Oakland and a short how-to-guide on moss stencils, plus information by bor*d on micro-stencils! Cut and Paint # 2 also features a number of photo spreads about stencil activity and Nicolas Lampert's book review of Schlabone Berlin.
